Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Showers with embedded thunderstorms will continue early this
morning mainly east of Interstate 55 and may produce gusty winds
and small hail prior to daybreak. Additional spotty thunderstorms
may develop this afternoon east of Interstate 57. Severe weather
is not expected.

Locally heavy rainfall may result in ponding in poor drainage
areas this morning.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM CDT THIS MORNING...


* WHAT...Minor flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following
counties, Cook, DuPage and Will.

* WHEN...Until 800 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 548 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported ponding of
water on roadways in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5
inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that may experience minor flooding include...
Chicago, Joliet, Naperville, Cicero, Hammond, Bolingbrook,
Skokie, Des Plaines, Orland Park, Tinley Park, Oak Lawn,
Berwyn, Oak Park, Downers Grove, Elmhurst, Lombard,
Romeoville, Plainfield and Park Ridge.
